About the Role
Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Property Officer to support the effective delivery of property and lease management services. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic property operations, drive compliance and financial performance, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage lease renewals, rent reviews, and license agreements across a diverse property portfolio
Maintain accurate lease records and financial tracking systems
Provide professional property advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional standards
Coordinate day-to-day tenancy operations and service request systems
Prepare financial forecasts and support budget planning
Deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and partners
Skills and Experience Required
Tertiary qualifications in property, real estate, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in lease and license management
Strong financial acumen including budgeting, invoicing, and arrears management
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
High attentionto detail and organisational skills
Knowledge of property legislation and compliance requirements
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
