DGees Management Inc. operating as DGM Property Management provides professional property management services for a portfolio of properties in Alberta. Due to growth and expansion needs, we have an opening for a Fulltime Property Operations Support to work out of our Edmonton Office, under the supervision of the Property Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Attend to all tenants inquiries with courtesy and professionalism
Check, assign, monitor and close tenants’ request on property management (Buildium) System
Manage Company’s social media presence (Listings, postings and responses)
Answer phone calls with courtesy, take messages or carry out functions as required
Prepare monthly operations report and update operational documents as needed
Answer inquiries and requests from owners. contractors, suppliers and trades
Respond to emergency situations in timely manner
Support Property Manager with periodic unit inspections
Support Account Administrator with bookkeeping tasks
Support property showings schedule and site visits
Perform other operational duties as may be assigned by the Property Manager
Additional Requirements
Currently working on or intend to work towards obtaining the Property Alberta Property Management License from Real Estate Council of Alberta
Hold a minimum of High School diploma and/or a certificate in the built-environment industries
Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies
Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities
Communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments in the industry
Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work
Follow all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management
Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
