Proposal Analyst
Overview
The senior proposal analyst will support the broader sales and proposal team on requests for proposals (RFIs/RFPs), proposal questionnaires, a proposal content library, and proposal pitch decks. This is a critical role in helping the Appirio sales team to create winning proposals and pitch decks. This role will work directly with proposal managers sales account executives, and Appirio presales.
Specific Tasks and Duties:
Partner with Appirio proposal managers and sales team members to support proposals and pitch decks.
Proofreading and formatting support for proposal and pitch decks
Collaborate with assigned content owners to maintain proposal templates and a proposal content library.
Produce documents in multiple formats including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Prezi and PowerPoint.
Identify and implement improvements to the proposal development process, including process automation and extending content library.
Apply understanding of Appirio services and technology to interpret customer business requirements.
Serve as director on creation, editing and completion of polished customer facing proposals.
Education and Experience:
Extensive experience creating and editing large proposal documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Writing samples will be required.
Ability to work actively with sales team to revise proposals and presentations toward a goal of closing sales deals
BS in MIS or Information Technology is preferable.
Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Salesforce, Google Apps, and Workday is preferable.
Candidate should be self-confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have an ambition to succeed.
Ability to learn quickly and synthesize new information with existing knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
3-5 years of proposal and/or sales support experience for a software or technology services company is preferred.
Knowledge of business processes related to sales, marketing, customer service.
Working knowledge of technical system architectures, project management, consulting, and custom application development is preferred
