Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring care, ensuring their comfort and well-being in both home care and nursing home settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and providing companionship.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Support clients with mobility and physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers regarding any changes in the client's condition or needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology to understand client needs better.
Experience
Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Basic knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
A background in nursing or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
