Role Overview

Join our team as a Senior Policy Analyst and contribute to improving healthcare services in New Zealand. In this role, you will lead core components of our work programme, focusing on embedding the Government Policy Statement (GPS) on Health 2024-2027.

Key Responsibilities:

Work across government to develop advice on the next GPS for health and support cross-Ministry policy programmes;
">
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive strategic system thinking and problem-solving skills;
">
Apply policy frameworks to work in tight timeframes and lead policy projects;
">
">
Requirements:

">
To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
">
Strong understanding of the machinery of government and ability to analyze complex subject matter;
">
Experience navigating government processes and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders;
">
Highly analytical skills with ability to apply policy frameworks to work in tight timeframes;

Ability to lead policy projects and mentor analysts to grow their policy skills;
