Job Description
The Public Records Coordinator (Management Assistant II) plays a vital role in managing the intake, assignment, and fulfillment of public records requests for the City of Phoenix. Reporting directly to the Internal Communications and Public Records Manager, this position works closely with the Communications Office Public Records Requests (PRR) Analysts to review, redact, and process records, while managing high-profile and complex requests. The Coordinator plays a hands-on, collaborative role in providing PRR guidance and oversite for all City departments, except Police, Fire, and Municipal Court and collaborates with staff at all levels, including department liaisons, attorneys, City executives, Mayor, and City Council.
