Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Coordinator to support
procurement operations by ensuring timely procurement, accurate data maintenance, and
strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per PO timelines.
● Follow up proactively to track dispatches, shipment status, and resolve delivery
issues.
● Verify and ensure material quality and quantity align with purchase order
requirements.
● Maintain daily and weekly procurement tracking reports and data logs.
● Generate comparison sheets from multiple vendor quotations to assist in
decision-making.
● Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved quotations or
Proforma Invoices.
● Collaborate with internal departments to collect purchase requirements and clarify
specifications.
● Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to delays or
non-compliance.
● Ensure accuracy of all procurement documentation and file management.
● Assist in price negotiations, payment follow-ups, and vendor communication as
needed.
Key Skills Required:
● Strong command of MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Excellent communication and coordination skills.
● Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
● Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
● Good understanding of procurement workflows and vendor management.
