Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Purchase Executive to join our team at T-A-HR-Solutions. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing and contract management strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Purchasing and Contract Management: Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Contract Evaluation: Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding contracts to suppliers and vendors.
• Requisition Processing: Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate records and tracking goods ordered and received.
• Supplier Management: Locate potential suppliers and vendors, maintain a database of approved suppliers, and build and maintain relationships with them.
• Budget Management: Track, measure, and analyze company expenditures, controlling purchasing department budgets and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Set minimum inventory levels and arrange for the disposal of surplus or non-moving materials.
• Performance Metrics: Determine and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery (OTD) rates and adherence to dispatch plans.
• Licensing and Compliance: Keep track of all licenses required for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Logistics Support: Ensure adherence to dispatch plans and provide logistics support as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement processes to optimize purchasing operations and reduce costs.
• MIS Reporting: Prepare management information system (MIS) reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
• Graduation degree in a relevant field, such as commerce or supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
Working Environment
The successful candidate will be based in Manesar, working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to drive business growth and profitability.
