We are currently for a Python AWS DevOps Engineer (remotely) to join our team.
This is a "CONTRACT TO HIRE" role and the project length will be 3 - 6 month or extendable. Please only apply if you're comfortable with it.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proficient in AWS console, resource management, and cost optimization.
• Review and assess Git push requests from developers.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintain best practices.
• Efficiently manage AWS resources to ensure optimal performance and cost savings.
• Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure to support our applications.
• Review Git push requests and provide developer feedback.
• Manage and maintain RDS (Relational Database Service) instances.
• Optimize database performance and security.
• Work with Lambda functions and API Gateway for seamless integration.
Preferrable skills:
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in AWS DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong database administration skills, particularly with RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Git and Git push workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Work Timing:
The selected candidate will be required to provide support during a 3-4 hour morning overlap, beginning work at 7 am IST to ensure effective collaboration with the client's team.
