Description and Requirements
Information Services and Technology (IS&T) provides all the required technology and operational support services to run the business in BMC. IS&T has around 200 plus servers on premises to support production, Disaster recovery, databases, applications and around 1000 plus servers in Lab environment. IS&T is transformational not only for BMC but also for the customer experience, it gives 360 degree view to the customer about the products they should know, opportunities in the pipeline, and any service issues outstanding with the customer. We are also Customer Zero for BMC’s products!
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
• BMC IT is looking for a Technology Oriented Professional for the primary role of a Python Developer, in Digital Solutions team.
• You should have ability to work with stakeholders to understand the requirements and discuss with technical team/designers.
• You will work as an Individual Contributor on complex projects.
• Developing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Improve the code quality by implementing best practices.
• Preparing and producing releases of software components.
• Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts.
Qualification And Required Skills
• BS, BE or higher degree
• Requires 3-5 years of extensive hands-on experience in Python, in a global delivery model.
• Python 3.x and Python framework Flask is a must, Django is an added benefit.
• Experience in working with RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and design.
• Experience in full stack web application development, including RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong analytical and problem-Solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
