🚀 Hiring: QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + API | Java | RestAssured) only for immediate joiner
📍 Location: Bengaluru / Hybrid
🕓 Experience: 5–8 years
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java) and API automation using RestAssured.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience designing scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring end-to-end quality in Agile environments.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid).
• Build and execute API automation scripts using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Develop reusable test utilities, functions, and maintainable scripts for scalability.
• Automate tests across Web, API, and Mobile layers.
• Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies — stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Analyze test failures, debug automation scripts, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage test data, environment configurations, and generate reports (Extent / Allure).
• Mentor team members on automation practices and conduct code reviews.
🧠 Technical Skills Required:
Automation Tools:
• Selenium WebDriver (Java)
• TestNG / Cucumber / JUnit for test orchestration
• RestAssured for API automation
• Exposure to Playwright / Cypress (advantage)
• Appium for mobile automation (basic to intermediate)
