Bangalore Development Centre of Paymentus is responsible for developing the premier solution for households to easily organize, manage their bills securely and make Payments. We have developed a robust Aggregation Engine which helps Users to aggregate their Account & eBill information retrieved from various US specific Service Providers. We also have multiple Payment solutions built for the ease of Paying their Bills. We support around 17000+ Billers in our system. Our Bill Center application has gained immense recognition in the banking industry and we are continuously adding more clients to our solution. We have used Angular / React in our frontend layer backed with Rest based API services & Java Springs in the backend. We have a very robust money movement platform developed / deployed in the backend servers which assists in a seamless Payment processing & settlement process with Banks and Funding House for our clients.

Position : QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer
Job Location: Bengaluru
(Work from Office)
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Act as SME for assigned projects, including requirements, acceptance criteria, and Dev stories.
• Engage during the requirements phase to clarify acceptance criteria and project timelines.
• Develop Test Plans and cases, linking them to requirements and Dev stories for traceability.
• Participate in Defect Triage meetings to identify and address bugs, and maintain JIRA dashboards.
• Replicate client-reported bugs and collaborate with development teams.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Review code in Bitbucket (Whitebox testing) and validate against databases (Oracle, MongoDB, SQLServer).
• Drive quality, advocate for test-driven development, and enhance the automated delivery pipeline.
• Apply automated testing methodologies and cover unit, integration, end-to-end testing in SIT and UAT.
• Support organizational growth and career development opportunities
Education & Experience required:
• 2-3 years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including Agile.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Working knowledge of relational databases/SQL and No-SQL concepts.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of QA roles/responsibilities within Agile.
• Ability to identify issues, resolve bottlenecks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
• Hands-on experience with front-end test frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jest, Puppeteer).
• Experience testing RESTful services in NodeJS.
• Ability to understand and analyze development logs.
• Proficient in Oracle 1+c and PL/SQL.
• Familiar with GIT or similar source control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Subversion).
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
