Job Description
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure end of day check lists are completed
Prepare the facility for the day – opening doors, turning on machines, turning on all lights, air dryer etc.
Make sure all stations are ready to production including palletizing stations
Clean the heat plate regularly
Monitor packaging station for bag consistency
Ensure material feed is stable in both bins
Plant walk arounds to check on product
In the absence of the QCM do density, burn and smolder tests
Lunch and end of shift shut down
Your Education
Quality Control diploma or equivalent
1-2 years warehouse experience
Your Knowledge and Competencies
Experience in a manufacturing plant (an asset)
Forklift operating experience (an asset)
Your Skills and Abilities
Attention to detail
Team spirit
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Well organized, fast-paced work, managing different tasks
Great communication skills
Priority management
WORKING CONDITIONS
Wear PPE as required
Frequent changes in temperature depending on the movements inside the plant
Monday to friday | Evening shift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional handling of heavy loads (40 kg)
Good physical and mental health
