Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
• Be involve in Business Requirement gathering, upcoming projects discussions with the onshore/offshore Business Partners for the Testing activities
• Analyze, develop, and implement efficient and effective Test Plans/Test Cases/Test Data for the new state specific requirements and enhancements for the SGS program
• Test execution of Facets Online/Interfaces/Letters/Extensions/Reports and web services for the SGS Program
• Conduct the defect triage meetings with all the stake holders and supporting onshore/offshore team with testing, issues and defect resolution
• Participate in the Release Gateway meeting, Code, Design reviews and production check outs
• Implement QA methodologies, processes using automation tools to develop and execute the new software solutions
• Review the test artifacts of the peers to ensure quality delivery
• Prepare the MOM's, Status reports, issue logs and defect logs for tracking and follow up
• Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) setting
• Write and execute automated tests using Selenium/Java, Cucumber or similar tools
• Deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
• Perform reviews of automation solution
• Engineer automated test and metric reporting solutions
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment)
The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 3 - 4 years of Automation Framework exposure with CI/CD Implementation knowledge
• Strong prior experience in Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, applications or Facets projects
• Hands-on experience with testing and automating using Selenium/Java, Katalon)
• Strong ALM experience
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests
• Prior knowledge on testing the Facets Web Services
• Strong knowledge on SDLC and experience in Agile process
• Strong knowledge on different EDI formats like 837, 834, 835 and 274
• Knowledge in Processing, Subscriber Family, Billing and Providers, Data Model, Core batch jobs and ability to write complex SQL queries
• Knowledge in Testing Facets Online, Inbound and outbound Interfaces, Letters, Extensions and reports
• Strong communication collaboration and influencing skills to drive change
