About the role
We are looking for a Quality Inspection & Rewinding Operator to join our finishing team at our East Tamaki site. You will be responsible for processing, inspecting and rewinding printed reel-to-reel labels to meet customer quality standards, targets and deadlines.
This is a hands-on role in a high-volume manufacturing environment, working with finishing, slitting and rewinding equipment. Shifts: Monday to Friday (5 × 8-hour shifts). Rotating or fixed shifts available
Duties include
Set up finishing machines (loading print rolls, feeding material, adjusting slitting blades)
Continuously inspect print quality and remove defective material
Splice and rewind rolls according to specifications
Monitor and maintain finishing equipment with a strong safety focus
Record and enter production data into designated documents and MCC systems (CERM)
Maintain high quality standards and follow quality assurance procedures
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and on-time delivery
About You
Mechanical aptitude and comfortable working with machinery.
Experience in a manufacturing or printing environment preferred (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
Basic computer skills (data entry and PC-based systems).
Physically capable of manual handling (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
Full colour vision (no colour vision deficiency).
Does not suffer from motion sickness.
