Process Overview
Global Information Security (GIS) – IAM Infrastructure team is responsible for developing and supporting Identity and Access Management application and infrastructure services for Bank of America. IAM IE team manages SSO using Ping Access and Ping Federate, multi factor authentication, secure credentials, access and entitlements for thousands of applications etc.
Job Description
Individual will be part of the GIS – IAM Infrastructure Engineering team and will work to drive Functional/ Webservices Testing activities and create automated assets by providing technical expertise for a wide array of complex SSO and authentication solutions in Windows and or Linux/Unix environment. Candidate should be able to do hands on design, build and execution of automated test solutions using Junit/ Test NG frameworks and SOAP UI.
Responsibilities
• Participate in gathering necessary Functional/ Webservices testing requirements
• Analyzing Webservices interactions and translate the same in automated test scripts.
• Requirements gathering and independently coordinating with other functional teams to develop and document the Functional/ Webservices Test Plan
• Reviewing use-cases and application technology to assess the feasibility of using defined tools to simulate API/ Webservice integrations
• Developing, testing, and debugging scripts in multiple protocols (example: HTTP, SOAP, REST etc.)
• Executing, analyzing, and reporting the results and their impacts
• Collaborating with technical teams for troubleshooting issues and supporting root cause analysis
• Reviewing use cases, scripts, and test results of others to ensure consistent quality
Requirements
• Education : B.E. / B Tech / M.E. / M Tech / M.C.A
• Certifications: NA
• Experience Range : 4-6 years
Foundational skills
• Experience in Functional/ Webservices testing with JUnit/ Test NG/ SOAP UI frameworks.
• Expertise in developing & executing Webservices and API tests suites based on use cases shared by application teams
• Expertise in translating business requirements into automated test suites
• Expertise in using JUnit/ Test NG/ SOAP UI frameworks
• Detailed overview of Web Application and its architecture – Multi tier architecture
• Database concepts, SQL and Data Analysis
• Experience in Java programming language with good understanding of webservices
• Good understating of HTML, Java Script and VB script
• Excellent in both written and oral communication
• Experience in Quality Center
• Experience in creating traceability matrix
Desired skills
• Knowledge and Experience in performance testing with Load Runner
• Analytical and problem solving skills
