The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our established Nelson team. You will build on our continuing, award-winning successes and lead and deliver our projects by providing effective and accurate financial quantity surveying services in all technical and contractual aspects of the role. You will have a solid track record working for a main commercial contractor or specialist sub-contractor with the ability to manage projects of varying complexity and size within the Nelson/Tasman region.

The role includes (but is not limited to) project financial management and administration of a variety of building contracts, pre-construction activities, estimating and tendering, letting and administration of sub-contractors, variation identification and processing and successful final account negotiations.

You must be a team player, who takes personal ownership and responsibility for your results ensuring the best results are achieved.

This is a project related, 12-month fixed-term position. An opportunity to extend may be available after review.
