Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Railcar Mover and equipment to unload primarily railcars of Frac Sand
- Creating accurate paperwork and records for shipments
- Operate other types of equipment and computer related to transload operations
Preferred:
- Valid certification or previous experience operating a Railcar Mover/Track Mobile or Locomotives
- Will train the right candidate
- Work up to 12 hours daily
- Shift work: Changes with orders
- Currently live in Grande Prairie or immediate area
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- Able to work independently in a “Team” environment without constant direct supervision
- Strong work ethic and reliable
- Basic computer skills: send emails, enter ticket info into computer
- Flexible with job site as we currently operate 3 locations, furthest being 45 Km’s from GP.
- Wearing PPE including dust mask when required
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Help with plant maintenance and general site upkeep
- Physically fit: ability to open railcar gates and move track switches
Considered an Asset, but not required:
- Experience operating bulk transload plants
- Experience handling frac sand
- Experience working on a farm
