The Role:
As our Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. You will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, coordinating office procedures, and supporting various departments senior leaders and departments within the organisation. You will assist the EA in supporting the CEO on a variety of tasks as required. Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, proactivity, and ability to multitask will be vital in maintaining an efficient and productive workplace.
What you will be able to do:
Handle incoming calls/inquiries both internal and external to the organisation
Be the face of our reception area - receive and direct visitors and provide support to senior leaders with the management of meetings for visitors and clients.
Be the key point of contact and coordinate deliveries, catering, maintenance matters and supplies for the Melbourne office.
Provide proactive assistance to our EA and senior leaders with general administration, travel, accommodation and internal office events
Support the People & Culture team with bi-annual ISO audits safety matters or projects as directed
Coordinate and proactively maintain a range of tasks to support the Melbourne office and senior leaders to a professional standard, providing a neat, efficient, safe, and inviting environment for our visitors and employees
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in customer service role or supporting a team in an office environment would be an advantage.
Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
Strong communication and listening skills - actively seeks, and accepts feedback, and considers a range of opinions, perspectives, and contributions
Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing work demands and deadlines
Works both autonomously and collaboratively as a team player
Easily engages and interacts with a diverse range of people and situations
A valid driver's license and access to a car
