Your Role

Based at Eagle Farm, the Receptionist will form a pivotal part of the site team and act as the go-to administrator for callers, visitors and staff of the facility. This role has become available due to an internal promotion.

Reporting to the onsite HR Manager, this is a varied role where you will provide support to various departments as well as work autonomously in your day-to-day duties on reception.

Responsibilities Will Include

Being the first point of contact for all callers and visitors to the facility;
Managing all incoming calls in a polite and professional manner;
Completing basic site induction and sign-on/off for visitors and contractors;
Managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries;
Ensuring all stationery and first aid kits are maintained;
Assisting with facilities maintenance including arranging contractors and reviewing contractual terms;
Assisting finance department with vendor setup, PO creation and invoices;
Maintaining reception area, boardroom, staff lunchroom and amenities;
Managing employee orientations, security access cards, ordering of uniforms and workwear;
Managing weekly diaries and scanning logbooks for the workshop;
Assisting with basic HR and recruitment administration including managing training records and preparing documentation;
Assisting in the coordination of employee events including lunches and staff Christmas Party;
Any other administrative assistance that might be required from other office or workshop departments.

This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week for 7.5 hours per day, commencing at either 8.00am or 8.30am each morning.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will present as a warm and welcoming, friendly and professional administrator who is comfortable supporting a blue- and white-collar environment. You must be reliable, level-headed and bring a healthy sense of humour!

This role suits someone who enjoys coming to work and building good working friendships whilst also demonstrating maturity and an ability to see what needs to be done.

Experience in an administrative as well as customer-facing role is essential and prior experience within a service/workshop environment will be highly regarded (particularly from aviation).

As much of your work will be completed in a workshop/warehouse setting, you must be comfortable and able to walk to various areas within the facility throughout the day and it will be a requirement to wear steel toe safety shoes and personal protective equipment regularly.

A related qualification such as Certificate III in Business or higher is highly regarded.
