Illawarra based Tread Right Podiatry & Biomechanics is currently looking for a full-time Maternity Leave position as a Front Office Receptionist for a 7 month period, commencing early December 2024.

Ideally the applicant will have a minimum 2 years receptionist experience, be energetic, have a desire to learn and be available Monday to Friday +am-5pm.

Our focus is on all aspects of podiatry including general treatments, ingrown toenails, diabetic assessments, wart treatments and biomechanics with a strong focus on foot manipulation therapies.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent IT skills including being able to perform intermediate level word processing, create and update spreadsheets, interact professionally via email, and be able to assist with the efficient and secure management and storing of electronic patient records
Exceptional telephone and interpersonal skills
Willing to perform sterilisation of medical utensils
Ability to communicate with and relate to individuals with disabilities, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as individuals of all ages.
Exceptional organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Confidence in dealing with cash handling, invoicing and receipting
Well spoken, well presented and well mannered
Ability to work in a busy environment with limited supervision
Excellent time management skills
Have/or willing to obtain prior to commencing, a Working with Children Check (employee) and NDIS Workers Screening
As per the current NSW Health order, employees working with individuals with a disability must provide proof of full vaccination of Covid-1+, unless an exemption applies
Non-essential/Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of the Medicare, MyAgedCare and NDIS billing systems
Knowledge of practice management software, Halaxy
