We are looking for a high-performing R2R Accountant with strong expertise in general ledger accounting, financial close, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing end-to-end Record-to-Report activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial results.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Own and **independently manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes**, ensuring timelines and accuracy
• Prepare, review, and post **complex journal entries** with complete supporting documentation
• Oversee **general ledger (GL) accounting** and maintain integrity of financial data
• Perform **detailed balance sheet reconciliations**, investigate variances, and clear open items proactively
• Conduct **variance analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet)** and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver **financial reports, schedules, and management packs**
• Ensure strict adherence to **accounting standards (GAAP / IND-AS) and internal controls**
• Support **statutory, internal, and external audits** with complete and accurate documentation
• Drive **process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives**
• Collaborate effectively with **cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A, Controllership)**
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Bachelors degree in **Accounting / Finance / Commerce**
• 24 years of experience in **R2R / General Ledger / Financial Reporting**
• Strong understanding of **accounting principles and financial close processes)**
• Advanced proficiency in **MS Excel** (Pivot Tables, Lookups, basic analysis)
