Job Description
- The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring candidates for a range of roles, particularly in production, engineering, and administrative functions within the manufacturing environment.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, the ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously, and the capacity to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic approach to recruitment.
What will a Recruiter do?
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
- Work closely with department managers to understand job requirements and craft detailed job descriptions that attract the right candidates.
- Source candidates using various channels such as online job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals.
- Screen and assess candidates based on qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization.
- Conduct interviews using structured and competency-based techniques, and guide hiring managers through the interview process.
- Provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers to ensure clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future roles by engaging with passive candidates and staying connected with industry talent.
- Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and trade schools to source candidates for specialized manufacturing roles.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events to represent the company and attract potential hires.
- Work closely with the HR team to enhance the company’s employer brand, ensuring that the company is perceived as an employer of choice within the manufacturing industry.
- Assist with developing content for social media and the company website to promote open roles and highlight company culture.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Prepare regular reports for management on recruitment activities and results.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and orientation to succeed in their roles.
- Assist with coordinating the orientation and training schedule for new employees.

Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Recruiter in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a must.
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to offer extension.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software (e.g., Workday, Taleo).
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including using social media, job boards, and networking.
- Understanding of industry-specific roles and requirements, particularly in production, engineering, and operational functions.
- Experience with developing and tracking recruitment metrics.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office - Excel is a must.
- Efficient knowledge of desktop operating systems and related technology/gadgets.
