About the Role
Health New Zealand is investing in the development of a strong National Office Recruitment function, designed to become a centre of excellence for corporate recruitment. We are seeking an organised, proactive coordinator who thrives in a fast‑paced recruitment environment. You take pride in delivering timely, accurate, and reliable support that helps recruiters and hiring managers deliver a seamless experience for candidates.
You enjoy being the go‑to person for keeping processes running smoothly, from scheduling and documentation to system updates and communication. Detail‑focused and efficient, you bring structure, clarity, and calm to a busy recruitment team.
You're someone who builds great relationships, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for everyone involved. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high standards ensures the recruitment function operates at its best.
About you
You will bring at least 12 months of experience in recruitment or general administration, along with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Highly organised and detail‑focused, you can meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and delivering high‑quality information. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to work confidently with people at all levels. You'll be someone who builds and maintains effective relationships, adapts quickly to changing needs, and uses initiative to improve processes and develop new systems. Demonstrating a methodical, proactive approach to your work, you will be able to establish positive working relationships across the public and private sectors, related industries, community groups, and wider national and international networks.
