The Opportunity
This role is designed for an early-career professional or MBA graduate who wants hands-on exposure to recruitment, talent sourcing, and hiring operations in a growing SaaS company.
You will not be expected to operate independently like a senior recruiter. Instead, you’ll work closely with a dedicated mentor who will guide you through best practices, provide structured feedback, and help you build practical, resume-ready experience in Talent Acquisition.
This is an excellent opportunity if you’re exploring careers in:

Startup roles
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role. You’ll be expected to take responsibility for your work, move things forward proactively, and demonstrate progress, not wait for step-by-step instructions.
With mentorship and regular check-ins, you will:
Take ownership of recruitment activities across a variety of roles
Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and creative research methods, and continuously improve your approach
Manage active candidate communication, including timely follow-ups, nudging candidates and hiring managers through each stage of the funnel, and maintaining momentum in the hiring process
Screen resumes, assess candidate fit, and present structured, thoughtful evaluations and recommendations
Own and maintain hiring pipelines and trackers with clear visibility, accuracy, and accountability
Produce insightful hiring reports that go beyond status updates, including funnel metrics, conversion insights, bottlenecks, and improvement suggestions
Actively research, test, and leverage AI tools and agents (e.g., sourcing, screening, follow-ups, reporting, workflow automation) to improve recruitment efficiency and daily operations
Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and execute improvements with a “can-do” and problem-solving mindset
Work closely with your mentor to refine judgment, decision-making, and professional execution, while progressively operating with greater autonomy
What We’re Looking For
Recent MBA graduate or final-term MBA student
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, you take initiative and follow things through to completion
A “can-do” attitude with comfort navigating ambiguity in a startup environment
High learning velocity and willingness to experiment, test, and iterate
Strong communication skills, especially in follow-ups, stakeholder coordination, and professional written communication
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and recommendations
Comfortable using, and excited to explore, AI tools and automation to improve productivity and quality of work
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deliverables and timelines
Interest in recruitment, HR, operations, and building scalable systems
You don’t need years of experience, but you do need curiosity, initiative, and the drive to prove yourself.
What You’ll Gain
Real ownership over meaningful work, not observational or “assistant-only” tasks
Practical, end-to-end exposure to recruitment, talent operations, and decision-making in a growing B2B SaaS company
Direct mentorship from a senior HR professional focused on accelerating your professional growth
Hands-on experience applying AI and automation in real business workflows
Strong, quantifiable achievements you can confidently showcase on your resume and in interviews
Exposure to leadership thinking, trade-offs, and startup execution realities
A professional reference based on real performance and impact
Potential for extended collaboration or role expansion as the company scales
Interested?
Send us a short introduction that includes:
Your academic background and expected (or recent) graduation date
Why you’re interested in recruitment, talent operations, or building scalable systems in a startup environment
Examples of how you’ve taken ownership, driven outcomes, or improved a process (academic, professional, or personal projects)
Any experience using AI tools, automation, or data-driven approaches to work more effectively
We’re less focused on prior titles and more interested in how you think, execute, and learn.
