Job description for Deputy Payroll Manager
Consolidation and validation of Payroll inputs for Variable pay, Time and attendance Exits, Overtime, Incentives, Shift allowances etc.
Detailed understanding of Payroll processes from Hire to Exit.
Understanding the implications of each of the Pay heads with respect to Income Tax, provident fund, and ESI and adhering to the compliance of the statutory laws concerning the salaries.
Liaison with stake holder and handling payroll query
Variance analysis and reconciliation salary registers with inputs.
Ensure timely processing of payroll inputs and other payroll transactions.
Maintaining accurate records for auditors.by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Preparation of payroll dashboards and MIS reports
Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function Statutory laws and taxes.
Understanding of Pay structure.
Diligence & Detailing
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel.
Proficient with payroll software.
Education and Experience:
Three to five years of related experience required
