About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Family Health Service team as Referral Unit Officer, where you will be responsible for:

Providing confidential and accurate administrative support, ensuring timely processing and data integrity of CAFHS referrals across the state.
Managing client bookings and appointments efficiently, prioritizing urgent needs while delivering a customer-focused, professional service.
Maintaining and updating client information systems, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with SA Health data standards.
Serving as a friendly and responsive point of contact for internal and external customers, handling enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Collaborating with the team to foster a positive, safe work environment and support ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain high accuracy in administrative duties.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support, including data entry, information management, and use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, adapt to changing environments, multitask, and solve problems independently and within a team.
Knowledge of health information systems and principles of confidentiality is preferred.
