Job Description
We have a vacancy available in our Mt Wellington-based Refrigeration Contracts team for a Refrigeration Site Supervisor.
We are looking for someone who can use their refrigeration training and experience to meet the financial, time, and quality objectives of the Auckland Refrigeration Contracts Department. This is a hands-on role which will be based predominately in the field and responsible for supervising on-site installation, overseeing installation resources, and Sub-Contractors.
Key responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and the Auckland Contracts Department to meet internal and customer KPI's
Provide "hands-on" installation and other services on projects for the Refrigeration Contracts Department
Procure and maintain stock of material in a timely manner as required to meet project requirements
Promote proactive service recommendations to our clients which will add value to their business operations
Maintaining health and safety standards
We are seeking someone who possess the below experience and attributes:
Ability to read plans
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to control costs and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors
Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, and prioritise
A driven individual who aims to achieve results and has a desire to learn
Ability to build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally
This role is based in Auckland, with the requirement to travel around New Zealand (predominantly North Island) when required.
Must have experience working in the refrigeration industry
