£50,000-£55,000 + car allowance

3 days on site, 2 days from home
Are you an established HR Business Partner with experience delivering commercial HR support to a large, multi-site workforce ideally within Retail.
Are you comfortable spending c3 days per week on the road, visiting sites across South East, Central London and South West?
We are supporting a large retail organisation to appoint a HR Business Partner to support their South region. This role will work closely with the Regional Director and Regional Managers to deliver an operational and strategic HR support to stores. The organisation are evolving how their HR BPs support their regions. Currently, c60% of the role is more tactical and operationally focused, with c40% of the role delivering on project led initiatives around engagement, workforce planning and talent.
Over the next 12 months, they are looking to increase management capability to free up the HR BPs to operate more strategically and support the retail divisions as true commercial HR partners to the business.
This role will be supporting a region that have experienced a lot of change and have plenty more to come! It requires a resilient HR BP that isn't afraid to challenge and influence at a senior level. The role will always have an element of delivering on complex or high risk ER processes for your area, but this particular region has a strong focus on identifying and nurturing top talent to develop through the business.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar regionally focused HR BP roles for a retail organisation or highly commercial multi-site operation. They will also be confident in saying no to stakeholders, in order to have the bandwidth to deliver on the 'bigger picture'.
Resilience plays a key part in any retail HR BP role and this is no different. You will be a key change agent for your area so need to be able to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders to move the region forward in line with the wider business agenda.
So, what's the role?
• Partnering Regional Directors and Managers across the South East, Central London and Central London
• Challenge and influence senior stakeholders on HR best practice and best routes forward for the business
• Deliver commercially focused HR advice across a large geography of stores
• Deliver on complex and high risk employee relations cases across your area
• Identify and nurture high performing and high potential talent through regular talent cycle processes
• Lead on engagement surveys and initiatives, interpreting feedback into action plans
• Partner regional stakeholders on workforce planning activities
• Up-skill and coach stakeholders on HR best practice
• Collaborate with the wider HR BP team and centre of excellence
• Utilise people data and performance metrics to feed into localised people plan
• Travel to stores c3 days per week with c2 days working from home
