Role Objectives
As Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent:
• Build and execute AOP for revenue recognition and generation for our products/services.
• Own the client right from lead generation to solution design, delivery, relationship management and mining.
• Prepare periodic forecasts and progress updates toward sales goals.
• Serve as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development
• Directs and controls the entire regional activities towards achieving agreed sales volumes/ targets for a geographical area which will help the company to achieve its strategic and business objectives
• Oversees smooth functioning of the entire regional activities.
• Ensures achievement of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales Targets through existing and new clients and distribution channel members, and supervises all related activities that contribute positively to the overall performance of the division.
• Drive for excellent client and customer service
• Developing a sales force with contemporary selling and marketing skills
• Manage the entire process of lead generation to receiving of payment cycles.
• Must have experience in packaging companies/ supply chain/industrial supplies and consumables/VCI/Cutting Oil and Lubricants etc.
Key Responsibilities
• The objective is to achieve targeted sales and profit objectives from a defined business territory/key customer group, in accordance with the Country/Regional Business Plan.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and strategies to enable effective planning
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company's maximum sales potential is realized in the area.
• To be responsible for demand generation activities, promotional campaigns, and channel partner meets thereby improving market share through penetration activity, cultivation of new channel partners, and network expansion, as well as management and support of existing channels/ network Primary and Secondary Networks.
• Maintain awareness of brand building, company products, and relevant sales techniques and strategies to ensure that the role is carried out as effectively as possible.
• Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position
• Provide the primary source of expertise to the company on business development issues
Preferred candidate profile:-
Experience:- 4+ years of experience in the packaging, oil and Lubricants, Industrial supplies and consumables, VCI industry.
Language:- Hindi, English, Regional Language.
