Registered Nurse
Theatre Perioperative Department
Based at Tauranga Hospital + Free onsite parking

About The Role
We are interested to hear from experienced theatre Registered Nurses who are looking for new opportunities in the perioperative department.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Working at Tauranga Hospital, you will be part of a highly skilled, and supportive team in theatre/ perioperative department. In this role you will be supported and encouraged to develop your skills within the team – including progression via PDRP and post graduate education.
About You
Our preferred candidates will have:
Minimum of 2 years theatre nursing experience.
A current NZ nursing registration, current practising certificate.
A passion for quality and the ability to care for patients undergoing a variety of acute and elective surgical procedures.
Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
