Relational Database Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Relational Database Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases that meet the needs of the department. This includes creating and maintaining high availability and disaster-recovery-friendly architecture, managing locking, process blocking, and performance tuning of databases, and ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Your expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, and day-to-day database functions will be essential in this position. You will also be expected to develop and deploy new database objects and changes to existing database objects, including tables, views, and stored procedures. Additionally, you will work with senior developers to ensure seamless integration between applications and databases.
A key aspect of this role is your ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that optimize database performance and efficiency.
