Job Description
The Relationship Manager would be responsible for business targets and deepening of banking relationship with the Army Units and personnel. The person would act as one point of contact between the Army and the bank in a geography/region/city assigned. He /She would coordinate for presentations to be given at the Army Establishments on an ongoing basis. He /She would also ensure meeting with senior Army Personnel with senior officials of the bank.
Overall Job Description
· Liaising with local Divisions/Regimental Centres/Regiments/Brigade Head Quarters/ Medical Units etc. as well as local units of other Defence Forces/Paramilitary Forces for expanding the relationship between Army/other Forces and the Bank at the Institutional level and also increasing the spread of our MSP with their personnel including officers. In addition,
1. Dealing with any local issues.
2. Conducting mass account opening/loan campaigns in large Cantonments, participating in their monthly "Darbars" etc and
3. Ensuring that the accounts of all new recruits in regimental centers are tapped and also the pension accounts and terminal benefit investment.
· Arranging meetings with commanding officers of the above formations when senior functionaries of the Bank have to call on them.
· Acting as one point of contact for the Army establishments for complaint redressal.
· Assisting Bank in identifying locations for branch expansion and also for setting up ATMs.
· Generating and following up of business leads and also furnishing the Bank with the contact particulars of various units/regiments for communicating with them locally whenever required.
· Assisting Bank in placing advertisements in the Army's in-house magazine as and when they are published.
· Coordinating with internal stakeholders for handling complaints.
· Any other task assigned by the reporting authority.
· The role will require to travel as per area of responsibility.
· Any other roles & responsibilities assigned from time to time
Essential requirement: Graduate / Post Graduate, preferred exposure to banking
Qualifications
·At least 2 years of work experience in a Bank having worked in sales for at least 1-2 years in relationship management.
· Understanding of the Army Structure and its divisions is desirable..
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
