Responsibilities
Maintain the performance, integrity, and stability of our enterprise data processing environments
Oversee both in-house systems and third-party cloud-based applications
Conduct regular monitoring and validation of server configurations to ensure database security and stability
Collaborate with the infrastructure team on Business Continuity (BC) testing
Recommend and implement innovative technologies to improve stability, functionality, and security
Execute data migrations and support platform installations and upgrades
Keep the database environment current with service packs, hotfixes, and security updates
Address performance or stability issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Engage proactively with team members and stakeholders to provide insights based on root cause analysis
Ensure data integrity and minimize duplication while preventing data corruption
Develop and implement system and data retention policies
Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of departmental initiatives
Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for timely actions
Share knowledge and mentor team members
Lead small to moderate projects with minimal oversight
