Job Description
A US-based company building a collaborative resource planning platform for business and finance teams is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of writing clean, well-tested code in an iterative fashion. The company is making it easy for the teams that work with finance to collaborate and be strategic about resource planning by tapping into the power of cutting-edge technology. This will be a long-term position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work together with UX and PM to improve the user experience and offer guidance on the feasibility of ideas
• Implement new features and enhance the existing functionality
• Assist in customer success and support in solving customer problems
• Collaborate effectively with others in a remote environment
• Work with the team on modern web-based systems in the cloud
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
• Prolific experience in Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Nice to have experience in UX, React, Vue and Cloud
• Prior startup experience and/or mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
• Ability to simplify a complex problem and solve it with creative solutions
• Demonstrable experience with one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Mithril, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English
