• Compliance: Stay up to date on the latest medical billing codes, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations to ensure all practices are compliant.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information or documentation for billing purposes.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Requirements: A diploma or degree in medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or a related healthcare administrative role is highly desired.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and understanding of healthcare insurance processes.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing codes and patient records.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote working environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience:
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a medical billing or coding role, working with healthcare providers or insurance companies.
• Entry-Level Considerations: Freshers with relevant education or certification in medical billing and coding are welcome to apply.
• Working Hours:
• Full-time: Monday to Friday, +:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST.
