A leading no-code game development platform is looking to hire a Platform Engineer. The engineer will contribute to building components, libraries, tools, and infrastructure that power the platform and its users. The company focuses on developing simplified products that foster creativity and eliminates the complexities in the gaming industry. The role requires a 4 hour overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team and work on the core product
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle of design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance
• Build quality and extensible architecture utilizing shared components across multiple projects
• Design and develop compelling user-facing products
• Identify, analyze and resolve performance and scalability issues
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a platform/software engineer
• Proficiency in Node.js and Typescript
• Nice to have some experience in MySQL and AWS
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and functions within the organization
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Deep expertise in working as a self-sufficient individual and a team player
