Job Description
Identification, Validation and Application of molecular markers for testing the genetic purity in crops.
· DNA Fingerprinting for PPV &FRA using molecular markers.
· Genetic Purity analysis of commercial seed production lots as a part of QC, handling large number of commercial seed production lots.
· Application of molecular markers for the maintenance breeding of hybrid seed production.
· Genetic Diversity analysis using the molecular markers.
· Marker assisted selection of foreground selection for introgression of non-GM traits in to desired genetic backgrounds.
· Standardization of zygosity assays for the new trait technologies.
· Molecular markers for analysis of GM traits introgression in to desired genetic backgrounds- Zygosity determination
· ELISA- Quantitative & Qualitative Detection of protein expression.
· Sample collection from fields for DNA extraction in the lab and data collection from fields for comparison of molecular results.
· Preparation of the monthly reports and data compilation.
· Preparation of the day to day quality reports to be submitted to the client.
· Maintenance of lab records, logbooks of chemicals and overall lab upkeep.
· All other related work that has been assigned / delegated as task from the reporting head.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
