Resident Medical Officer

You are the doctor on duty in the hospital after normal working hours, and so you are expected to keep your superiors-on-call informed, and immediately summon them when warranted. You shall attend to patients in discomfort and needing medical assistance promptly and efficiently. You shall attend to new admissions in the ward at earliest of intimation by the Ward sister. The Patient notes should include detailed history (chief complaints, ODP, past history, personal history, differential diagnosis, investigations ordered, drug orders) duly countersigned by the Consultant. Fresh orders, including fresh drug orders, should be written every time after Consultants round. CT all is NOT allowed. Histories of TPA patients should be written only after talking to Consultants. Before the Consultant comes on rounds, Lab, reports should be kept ready. This is also true of other investigations like imaging, special tests done outside the Hospital etc.
• RMO: MBBS/BHMS BAMS with 0- 1 yrs experience.
• * Examine patients to diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
