CONSTANT Security is currently recruiting for exciting new opportunities with our client in the Student Accommodation sector.
We are strongly encouraging applicants who have the necessary skills and attributes to meet the requirements of the role to apply. Candidates from, but not limited to, the allied health sector, education, community and multicultural services, or the student accommodation sector.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with a diverse group of Higher Education students, ranging from local, national, and international backgrounds. We value candidates who are mature, approachable, and able to handle various situations with a restorative and supportive approach. The ideal candidate will prioritize student safety, offer strong pastoral care, and actively foster student engagement.
These positions will support residents providing a safe and enjoyable experience while studying in a major local university.
We currently have Permanent overnight positions at the following location:
Mannix College
Shift times are 7 days per week and will include overnight shifts.
Duties may include:
Engaging with residents in a positive and friendly manner
General night manager/concierge duties
Incident management and reporting
The safety and general wellbeing of residents
Regular foot patrols
Administration duties
Responding to student enquiries and needs
Applicants are required to possess the following:
Current First Aid Certificate/CPR
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Good risk management and sound decision-making skills
Superior interpersonal skills
Excellent communication plus sound computer knowledge including report writing skills
Health and wellbeing qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential
Current National Police Check
Extensive training is offered, and these positions offer an excellent opportunity for people to look at a change in career, utilising their human service and welfare skills whilst engaging with residents to enhance their experience.
