We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Hand Framer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can take charge on-site, lead a crew, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements
Lead and supervise a crew of framers on residential projects
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
Coordinate daily tasks and ensure timelines are met
Maintain a safe and organized job site
Perform all aspects of framing, including walls, floors, and roof systems
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, contractors, and team members
Proven experience as a framer, with leadership or lead hand experience preferred
Strong knowledge of wood framing techniques and construction processes
Must own a reliable vehicle and own tool belt
Experience operating a zoom boom (telehandler) is required
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
PPE required
2. Framer Helper
Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Framer Helper to assist our framing crew on residential projects. This is a great opportunity to learn the trade and grow within a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements
Assist framers with building walls, floors, and roof systems
Load, unload, and move materials around the job site
Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow instructions from lead hands and supervisors
Support general construction tasks as needed
Willingness to learn and take direction
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
PPE and tool belt required
For both Lead Hand and Framer Helper:
Assets (Not Required but Preferred)
Fall protection certification
First Aid certification
Experience with crew scheduling and project coordination
