About the Role
As a retail assistant at WHSmith you will demonstrate superstardom and serve customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner, whilst managing cash and regular transactions using our POS system. You will also play a part in general merchandising of the store and stock rotation.
We have multiple Casual roles available. Please note, successful candidates will be required to work one weekend shift per week.
About You
We are looking for highly motivated individuals, particularly with the following attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Prior experience in a fast paced retail environment
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow
Experience selling technology or books to enhance our customer engagement
