We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Store Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product displays, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and organized. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with their shoipping needs
Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Maintain visual merchandising standards to attract customers and promote products
Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers
Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
Assist with inventory management, including stocking new merchandise and organizing back stock
Support in supervising team members when needed, including overseeing daily store operations
Qualifications
Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in retail stores
Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product displays
Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
Supervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
