We are a dynamic and customer-focused furniture store offering high-quality, stylish furnishings and interior solutions. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Retail Store Assistant who brings not only strong retail experience but also a flair for interior design to help customers create beautiful living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in the showroom, understand their furniture needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Interior Design Consultation: Offer basic design advice including layout planning, color coordination, and style matching based on customers' preferences and home requirements.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest furniture trends, materials, and design concepts to effectively promote and explain product features.
Visual Merchandising: Arrange store displays attractively and update showroom layouts regularly to enhance product visibility and appeal.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with stock-taking, and ensure the showroom is always well-stocked and organized.
Order Processing: Assist in processing sales orders, follow up with logistics teams, and ensure smooth delivery and installation coordination.
Store Maintenance: Ensure the store remains clean, welcoming, and aligned with brand aesthetics at all times.
Sales Support: Help meet store sales targets by building strong customer relationships and following up on leads and inquiries.
Requirements:
Proven retail experience, preferably in furniture or home décor.
Background or certification in Interior Design or a related field is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eye for aesthetics, color coordination, and spatial planning.
Proficient in using basic design software or tools (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or even Canva for visual layouts) is a plus.
Ability to work on weekends and during peak retail hours.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
