Job description
Job Title: Revenue Accountant
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay Range: 50,000-60,000
We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as a Revenue Accountant.
This is a full-time salaried hybrid position located at our corporate office in Honolulu, HI.
Essential Functions Include
• Financial accounting and reporting in accordance with GAAP and other regulations
• Maintenance and closing of financial records with established deadlines
• Manage accounting clerks, outsourcers and accounting processes including but not limited to accounts receivables, billbacks and revenue management
• Provide support and review in the billback and account receivable process
• Support of annual audits and reviews
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner, including researching issues and/or discrepancies
• Data entry of financial transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data
• Preparation of reports and summaries of financial data
• Analysis and research of financial results including flux and budget analyses
• Assess, document, execute and improve policies, procedures and internal controls
• Other accounting tasks and projects as needed Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience in accounting
• Detail oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-directed; able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, experience with Great Plains a plus Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to sit
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally carry up to 25 pounds Communication Requirements: The position requires talking to employees, supervisors, managers, executives, and outside trade persons/vendors; written communication to employees, supervisors, managers, executives, and outside persons/vendors; responding to written or verbal requests; reading; composing written language; receiving verbal and written instructions.
