Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Robotics Intern to join our team, specializing in Arduino-based automation systems. This internship will involve assisting with the design, development, and implementation of interactive technologies for immersive escape room experiences. You will work closely with engineers, game designers, and the development team to bring escape room concepts to life using cutting-edge automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Arduino-based Automation Development:
- Assist in designing and implementing Arduino-based systems to control puzzles, locks, lighting, sound, and other interactive elements in escape rooms.
- Support the development of custom hardware circuits and code to enable seamless operation of escape room mechanics.
Integration of Electronics and Mechanical Components:
- Help integrate sensors, motors, servos, and actuators to enhance game mechanics and user interactivity.
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing the connection between hardware components, including wiring and power management.
Programming and Software Development:
- Write and maintain basic Arduino code for game automation, working with senior engineers to integrate game logic and external devices.
- Assist with programming in C/C++ for Arduino to create responsive, real-time game experiences.
System Testing and Debugging:
- Support testing of all automation systems to ensure reliable performance during live game play.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with hardware or software.
Collaboration with Game Design Team:
- Work closely with the creative team to understand escape room themes and puzzles, ensuring automation systems align with the game flow and narrative.
- Assist in suggesting and implementing new automation features based on creative briefs and player feedback.
Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Provide support for ongoing maintenance and updates to the automation systems, ensuring they remain operational and up-to-date.
- Help plan and implement upgrades to enhance player experiences, increase reliability, and streamline operations.
Documentation:
- Assist in creating documentation for all systems developed, including wiring diagrams, code comments, and user manuals for future troubleshooting or upgrades.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
- Fresher can also apply.
-Basic hands-on experience with Arduino and microcontroller-based systems.
- Some familiarity with automation or interactive systems is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming Arduino (C/C++) and familiarity with various Arduino libraries.
- Understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the development of interactive systems in a team environment.
