Job Description
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Room Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.
Please note: the end date for this role will be September 30, 2026.
What you will be doing:
Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard; including making beds, dusting removing soiled linen from rooms, retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenishing supplies within room, etc.
Ensuring proper usage of all cleaning products & wearing all required personal protective equipment.
Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest.
Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service.
Responsible for restocking housekeeping carts & closet/service areas daily.
Track and update room assignments throughout the day.
Report any maintenance concerns promptly.
Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written & verbal
Physical Requirements:
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects
