The Opportunity:
We are seeking registered Occupational Therapists to join our service at Counties Manukau.
These roles offer four six-month core rotations across Acute Medical, Acute Orthopaedic, and Health of Older People Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation services.
Following this, you will move into annual rotations across a range of specialist areas, including:
Acute Orthopaedics
Acute Medicine
Older Adult Rehabilitation
National Burns Centre
Auckland Regional Spinal Unit
Hand Therapy
Community
Neurological Rehabilitation
You will be part of supportive, multidisciplinary teams providing acute physical care and rehabilitation to people aged 16 years and over. Our therapists work across inpatient acute and rehabilitation wards, supporting people with reduced occupational performance following conditions such as stroke, amputation, falls, fractures, and deconditioning.

Essential
NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with a current practising certificate
Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
Excellent inter-professional communication
Ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients
Full current driver's license
