We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team! As a Database Administrator at CarTrade Tech Ltd, you will be responsible for designing, testing, planning, implementing, protecting, operating, managing and maintaining our company's databases.Database Administrator Core Responsibilities:
Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
Develop processes for optimizing database security.
Set and maintain database standards.
Manage database access.
Performance tuning of database systems.
Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Be available for on-call support as needed. Provide guidance and support to Application Developers.
Assist with schema design, code review, and SQL query tuning.Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Candidates who have done certifications in relational databases will be preferred
Experience with Linux Server environments
Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle). Understanding of the NoSQL database will also be preferred.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a plus.
Strong command of MySQL tools
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
Good communication skills
