Sales & Operations Executive for Cultural Tours £27k-£31k AAE plus Bonuses

Outstanding opportunity to join an award-winning tour operator within their highly accredited Cultural tours department. In this role you will work closely with the Directors and CTMH team to ensure the smooth running of every aspect of CTMH tours before, during and after departure.

Sales & Operations for Cultural Tours Job Description

· Taking responsibility for operational matters

· Booking of all tour services and establishing contracts with suppliers.

· Creating detailed tour programmes.

· Briefing of tour leaders pre-tour including presentation of information packs.

· Creating the Joining Instructions and other relevant tour documentation.

· Prepare costings for new tours.

· Obtaining supplier quotes.

· Updating booking system and website with new tours.

· Assisting with tour programme planning and implementing.

· Reviewing existing tour itineraries and proposing ideas for new tours.

· Providing expert support to both the Marketing & Reservations Departments.

· Taking responsibility for preparation and updating of each tour’s Recommended Reading List.

· Assisting with preparation of brochure, copy writing and proof reading.

· Collaborating on and attending Kirker UK promotional events programme.

· Preparation of sales literature and micro-marketing.

· Ensuring the website copy is up-to-date.

· Accompanying tours from time to time.

· Checking supplier invoices and tour leader expense forms.

· Reviewing CS Questionnaires and Tour Leader reports.

· Take action re any points raised by the Tour Leader or clients to improve quality of future tours.

To be considered for this position you must have a proven interest in culture travel and you will need meticulous attention to detail. Experience of working in travel would be advantageous.
